Effects of Audiovisual Neurostimulation on Pain, Quality of Life, Brain Activity and Inflammatory biochemical markers in women with fibromyalgia: a randomized controlled trial

Research Title: Effects of Audiovisual Neurostimulation on Pain, Quality of Life, Brain Activity and Inflammatory biochemical markers in women with fibromyalgia: a randomized controlled trial.

Sample size: The study will be conducted with 120 participants.

Outcomes: brainwave patterns (EEG), pain, Fibromyalgia-related questionnaire, QOL, cytokines and Neurotrophic factors (NTFs), which are a family of biomolecules – nearly all of which are peptides or small proteins – that support the growth, survival, and differentiation of both developing and mature neurons.
